Week 5-reading.
“Five Principles to Design“ by Joshua Porter I really like that article because sometime reflect my thought about technology too. I do not know how many time I felt helpless with computers technology, so it make me happier when I read “The big difference between good and bad designers is how they handle people struggling with their design”. It great citation and I hope to keep it in my mind during my designing. I like the explanation between Design and Art. I think many people do not see deference. Art do not have the rules, Design do. Another article “8 Web Design Tactics to Help You When You’re Stuck” by Matthew Inman gives many ideas how to start design a web. Before working on the software it’s good to find some information and inspiration not only online. It can be grocery store, magazine, street commercial etc. One more step is sketches or small thumbnails with general ideas. Interesting idea is do not begin design with the header. It is better start with the body and than during designing process create header. If you stack with project it is good to make a brake even for few days and than comeback with fresh ideas. The Tutorial about web design include all informations above but with many detials. It focus on web design as well. It gives plan how to create web for the client. Explain what first should be done, how and from to get information, how orgenize theam.
